You Can Start Today!
Good Morning Girls! To be honest with you, I am having trouble getting started today. My head is still swimming from the church service last night, and the other meetings during the week. I am exhausted, and on fire at the same time! Many things that were a big deal a week ago, seem rather small and insignificant today. I would have loved to hop on the Rodney tour bus, and traveled on to his next destination, but that is not an option. Instead, I return to my current ministry, my family. I go back to the difficult task of balancing my family and my other hearts desires. I have said numerous times, that our ministry doesn't have to wait. It starts now, with our family. We can be a light and shelter for them. We can witness at Target, and Cub. We can change lives by providing financial support to someone who can pick up and get on the bus and go. I know it can be hard. It is much easier to go out on the streets with a group of Christians, to a place you don't normally frequent and talk about the Lord, than it is to witness to your neighbor at the mailbox! For some of you, the very thought of it knocks you into the fetal position! Let me tell you something, It does me too! I tell you though, if we can witness to our neighbor, how much more confident will we be when our time comes. Wouldn't you rather do all of the "homework" now so that when your schedule does allow you to work outside your home for the Lord, you are up and ready to go! Start asking the Lord for boldness, now, so when your time comes, it is so much a part of you, you won't hesitate when the Lord puts a soul in need of salvation in your path!
Philippians 1:20 For I fully expect and hope that I will never be ashamed, but that I will continue to be bold for Christ, as I have been in the past. And I trust that my life will bring honor to Christ whether I live or die
Love you-
