Good Morning Girls!  When I was a kid it seemed like my mom had eyes in the back of her head, and super sonic ears.  She seemed to know when I was going to do something wrong, even before I did.  It wasn't like she was trying to catch me or like she would wait so she could pounce and say "ha-ha, I caught you".  It was more like she simply knew what was going on in her home at all times.  As much as I hated it, I also found it quite amazing, even impressive at times.  I remember sneaking out of the house numerous times, only to see her headlights coming down the road before I was even a few blocks away.  I will never forget what the headlights of an 87 navy blue New Yorker look like!  Now that I am a mom, I notice I have inherited similar powers.  Maybe when we are given an epidural, they are also sneaking in super hero abilities in order to keep our family alive!  Or maybe those "pre-natal" vitamins are filled with super sonic hearing enzymes.  Or what about those stupid ice chips that they so graciously give us.....they always tasted a little funny to me....what do you think are in those?  Of course I am being silly here.  I believe we get the extra set of eyes, the super sonic hearing, and the intuition, from the Lord.  It is by praying over our family every day that calls on the angels to watch over them and notify us when we are needed at the other end of the house.  Just think of all of the stories we have heard about moms being in the middle of something and feeling they just had to drop everything and go to another room.  Or they just had to stop and pray, later to discover that their child was in a dangerous situation at that time.  How many times has the world seemed to slow down while you moved at the speed of light to save a child from the stairs or falling off of a chair?  How many times have you "just known" you had to be at a certain place at a certain time?  These are all examples of the power of prayer.  The power of being led by the Spirit.  I can't imagine running a household without these Supernatural powers.  I would be exhausted every day.  Especially you moms with a household full of boys!  Just think how many angels must be assigned to your house!  So girls, if you want to be Super(Natural)Mom, take a moment each day to call on the angels.  Invite the Holy Spirit to dwell within you and notify you when your family is in need.  It is a much more effective, and less exhausting way to be a mom!
