Good Morning Girls!  My dad went home to the Lord at 5:40 this morning.  It was very unexpected.  He had massive stroke at midnite on Wednesday and is gone today.  He has always said he wanted to be here today, and gone tomorrow.  I thank God for honoring my dad's request and taking him peacefully.  We were all able to speak to him and tell him how much we love him.  He was not able to speak, but he could hear us and respond by nodding his head and opening his eyes.  I was able to sleep next to him from 4-5:30 this morning.
 You Girls know how much I love my sugar......well, I got my sweet tooth from my daddy.  As I was laying next to him I smiled at the thought of him sitting at the banquet table with the Lord at the best birthday party ever this Christmas.  I picture my dad eating unlimited birthday cake with the Lord....and not stressing about how many miles he would have to put in on the treadmill to make up for it.
I have no idea of I will write over the next couple of days.  Part of me thinks no, while the other part of me couldn't wait to get to a computer to "talk" to you this morning.  It's one of those mornings where I feel like you are all on my couch with a hot cup of coffee, giving me hugs.
I thank God for all of you.
