I think the thing that most helped me accept my less than perfect self is when I heard Jerry Savelle preach about being "God's favorite". I thought, yeah, I AM God's favorite! HE loves me just the way I am, fat & all. Not that I don't want to lose the fat, so that my body better glorifies Him, but HE LOVES ME!

Hi Jen! I just wanted to tell you how timely and powerful your words have been - this has become my daily devotional and is SPOT ON with everything that is going on in my life right now (yes, lesson learned: scripture is timeless and true in teh midst of any and all circumstances). Thank you, Jesus, for using my sister Jen to speak powerfully into my heart - I pray that you will bless her abundantly and give her joy and a peace that passes all understanding! Amen!!

Great entry today, Jen! You are so inspiring. The Lord has given me the word "discernment" in the past year and I've been learning lots of lessons around that. Everything you said today is right where I am at. And thanks for sharing the verse for today - I was toying around with not working out today, too, but I guess my "mind" was just made up for me! ;) Love you more than the feeling after accomplishing a good workout.
